The first way to use templates is in your feed. Once you have graphics templates already set up in your brand colours, you can use the templates for various topics.
Generally I like to do stories off the cuff but sometimes it can be good to throw in some pre-planned content. Here are some ways I like to use story templates mixed in with live stories.
The reels that do best tend to have people in them but sometimes a mix of a reel with a person and an animated text reel can do well. I like to mix these up. Here are the ways I use templates in my reels.
Templates are so useful for covers of your IGTVs, both pre-recorded and going live on Instagram because those become IGTV videos too.

There are so many places you can get templates for Instagram. I would recommend that you start by clarifying what kind of templates you need. Are you a Photoshop user, Indesign user or do you prefer Canva? If you don’t know how to use Photoshop or Indesign I would recommend Canva.

Keep a bank of content ideas that you rotate around. For example:
Share a tip then ask a question of your audience to get to know them better, followed by a sales post or call to action post to get people on your list or buying one of your offers. Whatever the pattern is, if you keep following that pattern you’ll know exactly what it is you have to come up with for that week. Once you know exactly what content you need to create each week if you use templates you just drop in your content quickly and it’s done.
